Little Peruvian ginger root chunks are preserved in my ginger syrup. Using chemical and pesticide free ginger root lets me keep the skin on my ginger root and so adds more fibre to these glorious little balls. Throw some on top of pancakes and caramelised banana or delicious ginger baked oats for the morning or mid afternoon energy boost.

A blend of cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg and cardamon with my ginger syrup makes a lovely warming flavoured syrup. Pour onto some stewed apple and hold the cream. Of course I hear it's great on some piping porridge or to sweeten your coffee ;). Using whole spices helps to get a great balance with being too musty and no powder sludge on the bottom of the bottle.

Taste the fresh ginger flavours pouring from this syrup as you add it to your warm pancakes, porridge, ice cream or yoghurt. Works well as part of a salad dressing with carrots. This well balanced, natural ginger syrup compliments a range of tastes. Peruvian ginger is 3 times as strong than regular ginger. By reusing the discarded ginger skin back into my ginger infused water, this gives this syrup a nice earthy and pleasant taste.
